Default Question on Electric Brake Boost

I have only owned my C8 for three weeks now. My question is on brake feel. When approaching a stop, even light pedal pressure will cause an momentary "aggressive" initial bite (jerk). I don't know if that's when the boost is initially applying the pads to the rotor. It's not excessive but I cannot lightly apply the brake pedal without feeling that little jerk (flamesuit on).
BTW, I have tracked my C5 for nine years, and have a good understanding of brake feel.

Z51? Pads are a bit aggressive.

I don't know if non Z51 C8's have the option to adjust brake feel, but on my Z51 you have 3 "brake feel" settings in my mode and z mode.

I don't have that issue on my 2021 non-Z51. I can modulate the brakes without any problem. What drive mode and/or brake setting are you using? Tour requires the least pressure, so maybe a little harder to modulate than Sport or Track, but I don't have a problem even in Tour. How many miles? Maybe with a little more bedding in they'll smooth out.

You have followed the break-in instructions to not aggressively use the brakes for the first 500 miles, right?

I do have the ability to change the brake response (Tour, Sport, and Track). I wasn't referring to brake modulation, just the feel of the initial application. I'm probably just over sensitive. LOL
Unfortunately, I am not the original owner. I bought this with 3600 miles on ot. I cannot speak to the brake "break-in" process.
