Hi.
It was 65 today.
I took the Vette for a ride.
there seems to be a clicking noise coming from the rear center console in the fuse area. Almost like a faulty speaker at idle and low speed.
I disconnected the rear speaker and the noise is still there.
it’s a 2023 HTC with 3200 miles.
any idea?

Well, its not the speaker then. Do you have more information? You say you can hear it at idle. So, that with the car stopped, not moving, in park, with the engine running then. Sounds like its not related to bumps in the road either if its not moving. At idle, when stopped, does it change with engine speed? If so, I think it could be the normal fuel injector noise. Many describe that noise as a ticking sound that a sewing machine might make. I think its more noticeable in a Coupe than the HTC - which do you have?
There seems to be some kind of drain under the center console fuse box.
it doesn’t hold much water and doesn’t seem to drain to the outside.
Once I cleared the water by stuffing a rag, the noise went away.
I don't think that is a drain, and it should not have water in it. I think it is a duct to provide cooling air to the inductive phone charger - but I'm not sure. I am pretty sure I ran across it in the Service Manual, but I have not found exactly what it does yet. In the meantime, here is photo that shows that opening and the tubing that connects to it, that runs toward the front of the car.
I'm still looking, but I doubt very much its a "drain" because of the way the tube runs toward the front and upward. Edit: I do not know if I am tracing the tube route correctly once is runs under the console assembly. I found other view that also show another pipe or tube running under the console - I'm not clear yet on the exact path.
