Do you just want to access the air filter housing? That's easy. On the HTC, just remove the 4 t-handle nuts that hold the webbed trunk thingie. You can do it by hand. On the coupe, you have to unscrew the upper brackets that hold the top in place. I think it's 4 screws on each, then remove the two lower fittings by hand.
If you want to remove the rest of the pieces, I've never even looked at doing that. I doubt it's very hard, though.

Very easy. I had to replace the trunk liner in my 23 because a dealership somehow spilled oil on it during a service visit. In addition to the info above there is also 2 plastic retainers on the bottom that need to be removed and they are reusable.
