Exhaust
Soler throttle controller
Lowering
Wheels or 20 mil spacers to fix the rear offset
Low dust pads
High flow cats
4s tires if you are on an all season or Cup2r
Ron Fellows driving school to teach me how to turn a mid engine car with an E-diff.
Both affect me enjoyment of the car every driver (Soler) or almost every drive (SmartTop)
Next best:
Aftermarket wheels. No matter how much I tried to convince myself I licked the stock wheels, I'm much happier every time I look at the car
Aftermarket airbag cover from Apsis to replace the ugly rubber one on my 2LT. Same as above every time I sit in the driver's seat.
Worst mods:
Any other mod that is appearance only, especially engine compartment. I kind of wish I hadn't spent the money on them.
Best mods:
High Flow Cats
Body color front spoiler and rear wing, side wing
E ray offset forged wheels
lowering the car
Tan leather steering wheel
Low dust brake pads
Maybe I should try the Soler controller and the one stop HTC controller.
AWE Track. Had performance exhaust--nowhere near as good. Basically straight pipes. Similar sound to Bullets I had on '06 and '13. Same exhaust as I had on '21 M4 Comp. Huge improvement! V-8 even louder.

I forgot about the wide angle mirrors with blind spot monitoring and turn signal lights. I can see behind me now!
Window tint with UVA/UVB. Windshield included. Now I won't get sunburned anymore. It just looks dark from the outside-in. Driver wearing an orange jacket...
I always felt the brushed silver, door speaker covers looked totally out of place. The color and shape just don't flow with arm rest assembly and the color is a total stand-out blob against the black door panel. I wanted satin black covers, but could not find any, only carbon fiber. So I got the Jargon carbon fiber ones, scuffed up the surface with a scotch bright pad and then gave them four light coats od SEM Trim Black spray paint. The covers fit well and are easy to install with the double stick paint. Very satisfied with them and the color, so now it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb but blends into the door panel.

Turned out nice! I bought the CF ones as well but haven’t installed them. I’ve only had the car for 9 days and am still deciding if I like the brushed aluminum. It has factory CF trim optioned but seems incomplete? As many know the gear selection, paddle shifters, door button, etc… are polished aluminum. Not sure why GM did that. Anyhow, once I have some time I will “stage” all of the CF pieces and see what I like. To be honest, I might be over CF. Maybe GM was right in not over doing the CF interior.
