Hello, new to the forum and ZO6 ownership. Any insights/feedback would be appreciated. Took delivery of a 2024 ZO6 with ZO7 package. Came with Cup 2s. Unfortunately I have to replace 2 of the 4 tires. Worst yet front and rear on the same driver side of car (not front or rear same axle). I do not track car, but I still drive it spiritually around town from a dig/use launch control etc. So mostly around town "daily driver" use but would like to take on a state to state drive if the opportunity come up. Also it is my understanding that Cup 2s don't last as long as 4S in general. So my question is to ensure I have the most performance/traction from a dig/spiritual driving around town will I lose a lot of traction changing to 4S? Is any loss worth the benefit?
Also the current Cup 2s have approximately 4200 miles on them. If I decide to stay with Cup 2s should I replace the other two Cup 2s on the passenger side? Will having two new Cup2s on the left side and two "used" Cup 2s on the right side cause a problem?

Thank you and appreciate any help, Frank
Cup2's are really for the track and they are really nice for a couple of laps before they heat cycle and then feel slick. Early in their life they will give you better dry weather grip around town, if it gets wet at all you will hate it. PS4S are a street tire that you can track with. It will have less dry weather grip but last much longer. It will also do really well in the wet. You should avoid replacing tires asymmetrically is left side or right side only. Especially with a good number of miles on them. You should replace 2 or 4 at a time but it needs to be both front or both rear together if only replacing 2 tires.

Thinking your talking about Cup2R, that come with the Z07 package and not the Sport Cup2 that most posters are referring to from other identical threads this OP has posted.
