Default G meter readout jumpy

Since new, the G meter on my 2024 always reads .0 to .03 as if I’m making a left turn, even though I’m going arrow straight. It jumps around between.01, .02 and .03. Sometimes up to .05 and occasionally down to .00. Otherwise it appears to work normally. I have not seen this issue discussed before.

I’m guessing it’s the sensor (whatever that might be) or a loose connection. If anyone has any information or suggestions, I’d be grateful. I hate to think about the dealer ripping into the the dashboard.

It's not just lateral, the "tilt" can have a reading, even if the car is stationary. A high crowned road can trigger a reading.

An off-camber turn can read higher than the same turn/speed/arc then if it were "on-camber."

Nothing to obsess over.

Just go for your personal best "max."

Completely normal if your are on a crowned road. This drives me crazy but over the past year I pretty much ignore it.

Thanks for the replies. I’ll pay attention to the road crown. Although the reading jumps around even though the crown doesn’t seem to change.
