So glad I can do my own work. Changed my oil this spring at $4,000mi. Went ahead and did the trans filter while I was in there. Will do both again next spring. I'll let GM do the $7,500mi BS for warranty sake.
When the fluid hits three years I'll do that as well. All it will cost me is the fluid(which isn't cheap) and some curse words!
To each their own. I don't feel like I'm saving $1,000 by changing my own fluid since I'd never pay that to begin with. Glad I'm still willing to take the time to do it on my own as I'd rather sell the car than give a dealer a car payment to change fluids.
You don't need a "program" to change the DCT fluid. It is a drain and refill but you need to run it through the gears and make sure you are within the temperature range to check the fluid level.
You do need a scan tool capable of performing the hydraulic system flush when you change the DCT filter if you want to do it per the procedure in the service manual.
Yes, I have a "tool" in that I have an interface which connects to the vehicle and can run the flush and test procedure. In any vehicle I purchase I also purchase an interface that allows me to conduct the procedures I plan on doing on my own. As I said... to each their own. I'm not here to convince anyone to change what they feel is best for them and their Corvette... but I will continue to remind others that DIY is not only an option, but an easy option as well.
For a couple hundred dollars you too can save thousands.
with shipping Rock auto is around 31$ so I only paid slightly more.. less than 100$, and I don’t let a dealership touch my car unless it’s warranty work
So is there an expiration date for the fluid. I plan on perhaps buying it now with the filter and shelving it untill it's needed.
he DCT fluid has a shelf life of 3 years but may be shorter once you receive it depending on how long it sat before it was shipped to you. There is an expiration data on the container.

From what I have seen on the forum dealer prices for just the oil change, no filter, are $650-$1,000. I just did my own and the 10 quarts of fluid cost $295 to my door. Hope this helps.
I have absolutely no intention of letting a dealership touch this unless it required or warranty. I am perfectly capable of doing all the non warranty required work, then anything else after warranty. Very, very tempted to start modding. My avatar was 3 weeks off the dealership lot when that was taken, but I'll keep the 3/36 for this now. Some of the labor rates for the flush are NUTS. If you live in Houston and need it done, ill do the labor for $150. It almost sound like instead of flagging manhours, they are just throwing numbers up.

Reason: was not done
I don’t see where he did and his pdf receipt is for DCT fluid and in a thread for DCT fluid service.
Sorry if I’m not seeing what you are.
If this is the post you are referring to I think it’s for DCT and matches his receipt for DCT fluid.

I just changed another forum members DCT filter and fluid last week. He has a 2021 HTC and the Foxwell NT710 worked fine doing the flush procedure. If you are local to the Indianapolis area and would like my help performing the DCT service PM me.

Hopefully that means my XTOOL IP919PRO will be able to do it.
