Am I missing something or is this not the right bolt that should be there? (I'm having trouble unclipping this sensor too. Just down bad all across the board)
That is only the beginning. You will damage if not break most of the wiring harness retainers. And the last time I tried GM only sold them as a complete harness. Good Luck.

Do you know if this is the right bolt? I was under the impression that it was supposed to be a hex bolt there and not a torx screw.
Those 2 and 2 more in front of the air box. You can find several you tube videos on removing the air box.
I know that much, but all the videos I seen they were unscrewing 10mm hex bolts and the 4 that need to be removed on my car are torx screws instead. I didn’t know if I was just delusional in thinking those were not supposed to be there.
• although bolt styles may vary (not sure why GM would do that), the install instructions are still valid
• yes some of the OEM panel clips may break during removal … which is why Halltech includes a few spares in our install kit. If they need more they can reach out to us directly.

I appreciate you commenting on my post. I was never concerned about the harnesses. My issue was just the bolts and another guy said his had hex bolts also.
