Have you done any research yet? The hot item right now is the Escort 360c Redline. They sell something aside called a "Blendmount". It'll make it so you can install the radar detector very cleanly coming off of your rear view mirror power source and it'll connect to the mirror via the blendmount. It's a beautiful install. I'm getting mine done right now. Well, as soon as I can get back to the stereo shop. I got a ticket going 94mph a few weeks after getting my C8. Really took the wind out of my sails and couldn't bear to drive the car. For a day or so anyways. But yeah, the guy at the stereo shop is telling me after he installs it, that there is more that he can do with this setup, but its kinda costly. For a little over 5 grand, he make it so that police radar/laser won't even work on your vehicle. They'll aim that little speed gun at you and get zero readings. Fn magic!! I'm one of those guys that can barely afford to get the C8, so getting something that nice is a little out of my price range unless I start saving for it. But the Redline with the blendmount install, totally doable, in fact, a must.
