Default Steering Wheel Question

Hello,

I have a 2020 C8 Z51 Coupe. I am trying to select a steering wheel upgrade and have been leaning towards this one but I have a question about something. How do I know if my current steering wheel is heated or not? Forgive me, I feel like a bit of a newbie still, but I'm not even sure if my car is a 2LT or 3LT. I just know that it came with all the options and some extras. But I haven't seen anything in the car that would make me think it has a "heated" steering wheel. The website I'm using to shop has the steering wheels priced from about 550-1400. The 1400 one is a steering wheel that has an LED gauge at the very top that lights up. But I feel like 1400 is a lot of money for a steering wheel. The same website has a carbon fiber replacement removable hardtop that runs around five THOUSAND dollars. Is this normal??? Should I expect to pay 5k for a "carbon fiber" removeable hardtop at that price?? Or do I just need educated on a hard truth that owning a corvette is not like owning a mustang GT and is going to be expensive for me? I hope I'm wrong and there are good deals to be had.

Sorry to jump around but it's just a few topics I've been thinking about for the last few weeks and I have yet to make any decisions as to what I'll be using my funds on. But the steering wheel is the first one. If anyone has any knowledge on this subject or wouldn't mind addressing some of my concerns, that would be really helpful. Everyone here has been super nice and supportive so far. Super happy to be a first time Corvette owner!

If your OEM wheel has this 3rd button, then its heated. 2 buttons not heated.
Not sure on the hardtop. If you mean removeable coupe roof panel, then 1k seems a little cheap but 5k seems really high.
Some vendors sell carbon skins that replace the removable panels to fit roll bars etc. hard to say without visuals.

Just my $.02, but if there's nothing wrong with your existing steering wheel, I'd be reluctant to change it up. Especially as a first mod. If that's the area of focus, I'd be more interested in an airbag cover upgrade or some kind of black-out trim on the spokes.

Thank you so much, I just pulled up my window sticker, that is the coolest thing in the world! I saved a few copies of it and will be sure print one later for my files. It's so cool to see a specific breakdown on everything that came with my car, the extras, the details, just super awesome! Thanks again!!
