I know the transmission fluid must be changed following a certain mile and time limits. And in the Z51, must be changed after 24 track hours.
Question -- does the car keep track of how much time the car is in Track mode and adjust the percent life reading? Or is that something a person needs to keep track of?

Thanks, I assumed so but am surprised it doesn't automatically take that into account. My Sierra's oil life monitor sure goes down faster in tow mode than normal driving mode.
Rough calculation for me is 14 track days for 24 hours. This is based on 5, 20 minute sessions a day through Speed Ventures. So as long as you do 4 track days a year at most, you can stay on the normal cycle of changing the fluid every 3 years

Yes, and both the DCT external canister filter and the fluid must be changed, presumabley due to contamination or deterioration of the fluid, and also accumulation of extra debris in the filter.
What do you estimate that equates to in Track miles? I don't track, but I was guessing that average track speed is probably not over 100 mph, so at most 24 hour would be a mere 2400 miles. That's quite a bit less than the normal filter change interval of 22,500 miles, and fluid change interval of 45000 miles or three years. Which suggests that tracking generates debris at a considerably faster rate.

I track my Miata a lot and I agree that is a good estimate. About 5 sessions a day, usually less for me as an instructor
Average speeds on track for me is between 65 and 70 mph on the tracks I run. I change the fluid and filter annually. I don’t see a marked change in DCT or engine oil life after track sessions. Some track days are an hour on track some are 2 hrs.
