Exhaust installed; OTA update
Just downloaded an OTA update for my '26 SR. No idea what it was for, anybody know?
Had an MBRP exhaust installed yesterday at the dealer. Sounds fantastic--all the burbles on over run I missed with the NPP, and LOUD! Sounds like a 6.2L V-8 should, plus from what I've seen, ~ 19hp, 15 foot-pounds to the wheels. Can't tell any difference from the AWE Track I had on my '24 which was great too, but $700 more expensive, although it sounds deeper at idle which I like.. Should break in over the next 100-150 miles as it seasons so will see how it sounds then. Highly recommend it for a great priced exhaust easily matching much higher priced versions. And the carbon fiber over stainless tips are unique to them and look great. While they had the back opened up, had a K&N put in, as well. Any freer flow to the intake matches the much freer flow from straight pipes. Everyone has an opinion on K&N, but I've used them in every performance car since the '80s and always been happy with them.
