Default SCCA Super Street wheels

Looking for suggestions for a set of wheels to run SCCA super street class. Front 18 x 8.5 with a 45 offset Rear 19 x 11 with 57 offset. Not looking to spend 5K. I figure at this point maybe a company has these sizes in the program.

Thats a narrow front but for best value and quality IMO the answer is...
Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray, Z51 Wheels

Rule limitations I suppose?
I wonder if you contacted Apex if they could put something together for you? Worth a try?

Absolutely. I know what fits, I know what is legal. I can help with other things too, setup, bars, brakes, exhausts, harness/belt stuff, etc.

Nope. I asked them, they do volume order only, not custom. I got mine from Sam Strano, and he can get you exactly what you need.

That's not how that business is set up. That whole thing works because they make a large quantities of only a few styles of wheels, in certain sizes and offsets. But that doesn't give them flexibility. Now I've heard that they might start doing some custom wheels. But considering the price of a lot of their forged wheels that are made in large quantities I don't know that that's going to be any great bargain not to mention the fact that I can pretty much whip out 6061t-6 forged wheels right now in about 5 weeks worth of time, to any spec we want with a ton of different choices.

And here's the best part I know all the rules about the class. I can discuss with you in depth if you want to go to an 18/19 setup or stay with a 19/19 setup or a 19/20 set up like stock. Not many people ever do that. But I'm very well versed in the tires as well because I myself kind of dabble a little bit in Autocrossing. That's sarcasm in case anybody didn't catch it.... I know the current status of tires I know what's available, I have a vested interest in knowing what's fast.

So with all that in mind I can put together a combination for you if you're not sure, I can discuss what tires come in what sizes and what might give you the most flexibility moving forward based on what new tires are arriving or maybe some that have been around that people overlook.

I don't really hang out in this section very much I don't personally have a c8, I probably should pay more attention and that's on me. But I have had many Corvettes I even currently still own one. And I've been a supporting vendor here for a long time as well.

Sam helped me with a set of BC Forged for my C8, dimensioned to take advantage of the offset allowance per SCCA solo rules. 18”/19” diameter as back when I bought them 200TW tire selection was super limited in 20” diameter sizing.

Would definitely endorse buying from Sam.

P.S. - OP, just saw your PM. I don’t log in as much as I used to. Apologies for the late reply.

That's typically what I use. I generally sell for about $200 less a set then they do directly. Fwiw.
