any suggestions for the "lowest friction, least aggressive " Z06 pad for track day use. I dont want an aggressive pad. im trying to get a better feel out of the brake by wire system (which i hate).

Less friction that stock pads?
Maybe look in to the Pagid RSL line, or maybe something like an Endless MA45B
The Carbotech XP8 May help because of the modulation in the pad compound.
A high torque brake compound with a wide operating temperature range of 200°F-1250°F+ (93°C to 676°C+). Carbotech™ XP8™ is the first of our racing compounds. It provides good initial bite at race temperatures, high coefficient of friction, excellent modulation and release characteristics. XP8™ offers extremely high fade resistance and is very rotor friendly. It’s perfect for track day use with any tire. NOT FOR STREET USE!

I don't think the lower pad bite will help with the feedback in this case, since it's non-existent. Just get the pad that best suits your driving, and you'll have to be more aware of other feedback on brake performance than the brake pedal, like tire vibrations, rate of deceleration, etc. : P
