Hi guys. I’m new to the forum. I recently purchased a 2024 z06 and wanted to upgrade the exhaust. I love the stock exhaust note and just want to amplify that a bit and make it louder, and a slightly higher pitch at a high rpm’s. I was going to go with the fabspeed titanium valved option after watching some videos on YouTube, but it’s almost impossible to find a video of the exhaust alone without their cats as well. I’d love to do cats, but I don’t want to mess with the warranty and I live in CA so emissions are a pain. For what I’m trying to achieve, do you guys have any other exhaust suggestions?
I have the Paragon Touring exhaust. To me it has a higher pitched sound when just driving around, but under WOT throttle it gets more of a deep V8 sound.
Just to set expectations, there's not a ton to gain with an aftermarket catback on the Z06. OEM is pretty much straight through with valves open so HF Cats are always my recommendation.
That being said, you can achieve a higher pitch with Titanium and drop about 30lbs.
We also just installed this Corsa Valved system, sounded great, maybe 10% louder than stock.
If I could only do a catback and nothing else, I'd do the Fabspeed Ti system. I'd avoid Valvetronic and these no-name rebranded Alibaba Ti systems like the plague
I've done pretty much every combo under the sun on these cars - happy to walk you through options.
