Has any HTC owner purchased the Mod4Csrs remote device that changes the convertible top controls.
Installation easy? Setup easy. Any concerns or headaches with the use of the device. Concerns about voiding car Warranty?
Have been considering purchasing it for a while but wasn't sure it was worth the cost.

Both my buddy and I have the device. I installed them both in about 1/2 hour.
It allows you to change some of the factory top functions.
I changed the armrest button for the top, pull up to raise the top and push down to lower the top.
Included directions were a little hard to figure-out for me.
More than a couple of e-mails to the company to help me out!
It is expensive but worth it for us. Check online for some others reviews and install tips.
I never looked for them before I installed ours but might have been helpful depending on you skill level!

I bought my 2025 ER HTC gently used and it came with this device already installed by the previous owner. For the simple up/down operation, it works well. BUT, there are a lot of other "features" that it seems to offer but I haven't been able to figure out. For me, I would not pay $500 for it. Maybe $200, otherwise I would have gone without it.

I recommend that you review carefully the installation procedure that involves messing with some harnesses. See if you are comfortable with it. If you damage something it could lead to issues that will not be covered by the warranty.

I picked mine up from a forum member who never installed it for $350. Honestly, it’s worth every penny—even at full price. It really comes down to how much you value the convenience, and for me it’s been a great upgrade. Definitely one of those mods you’ll appreciate every time you use it!

I was one of the first to purchase one. It has worked great for the last 4+ years I've had it installed in my 2021 HTC, with one exception: It stopped working entirely about 2 years ago. I removed it and reprogrammed it with my computer, It's been flawless since. I would recommend it if the cost isn't a financial strain. Luxury item.
