What exactly do you wish to remove and why?

The front lift system consists of the shocks, the hydraulic system pump and fluid reservoir, the lines, the supporting software and controls, harness components specific to the front lift system, probably more stuff I haven't though of.

What is your goal...? Do you want to replace the shocks with something else and then just disable the remainder of the system in a way that won't cause a MIL and/or ripple through all the other systems?

I'm not saying I know how to do it...but you will get a better answer if you can clarify your objective.

You can buy a lowering kit with the front lift kit installed.

Oh, ok, I see from the next post you are looking for lowering collars ( did not recognize with the typo coilers).....and that's right ......they are made for front lift cars. Here's one if that is what you want:

I want to go with aftermarket COILOVERS, and my car has a lift. I don't want the lift anymore and want to remove it. I am sure if I unplug the motor, it will throw a code. so wondering if anyone knows a way to trick it using plugs like the mag ride delete plugs.

I do not know how to do it, but I think that might require reprogramming of one or more modules so they no longer look for the components that are removed. Someone did that when they added, rather than removed components like that and posted it on this forum. I don't recall the thread where that was discussed. But that person may be able to help. Its non-trivial.

Assuming Coilover means a spring shock assembly, you will be removing the shocks. Those shocks have, or may have, both electrical connectors to sensors and hydraulic lines for the lifting (which I figure you knew). If you have mag-ride there will also be connectors to the shocks for that. So the hydraulic lines come out. And the connectors will be dangling unless you want to remove/replace the harness too. And you want to remove the motor and reservoir which I think includes the module, leaving that harness or dangling maybe.

As you say, the unconnected harnesses to the shocks and Suspension Leveling/Lifting Hydraulic Power Pack Module will be dangling, and will set one or more DTCs and light up the MIL or maybe even post a message to the DIC.

I think removal of these components would require reprogramming of the one or more modules so they no longer look for those components. There was a thread on this forum where someone figured out how to install, rather then remove some of these components - forget whether it was the front lift system or the mag-ride. That person may be able to help. But its non-trivial I think.

Exactly, I disabled front lift on my last C8 to run coilovers. There was a company that made sims to plug into the harness that is left behind when you remove the stock shock (Xineering) but when I bought mine a few years ago, they seemed to be the first set that didnt work after a global software update. Soon after none of theirs worked and they kept telling me for about a year and a half that they were going to design new ones.

Good news is it is only a single error message if you can live with it that is easily cleared at start up and has no impact on function of the car.

M12x1.0 union and plus is what you want to block the end of the hardline that sits right above the brake hydraulic hardline.

Essentially will look like this (this was a brake line blocked on my Z06 while waiting on new brakes but same idea. If your gonna do this make sure you have a thread chaser.
