Default MSRC Shock Leak

I discovered that my left rear MSRC shock is leaking. No drips on the floor yet but it is getting things behind it on the chassis wet and there's dirt and gravel sticking to the blow-back so it's more than a weep. I seem to remember dealers telling C6 guys that a little weeping isn't a problem, or am I miss remembering? What's the current thinking on the C8? No weeping? Mine's a 2024 so still on warranty. Looks like there's a trip to the dealer in my future, but curious to know what to expect to hear from them. TIA

Probably need to replace it. My right rear is starting to leak. I noticed it while doing a spring change. definitely a change in my future.

Thanks, that's great info. Looks like I'm either #2 or #4. I'd say I have a wet film but will have to determine if it covers more than 1/3.

If it's getting things behind it they should call it bad. That is more than a weep.

Having a leak on your Corvette with unknown cause is nothing short of frustrating to deal with, Jeff. We recommend taking it to your dealership for further diagnosis and suggested repairs so you can continue to enjoy Corvette ownership to the fullest. Our team would be happy to provide a layer of support during this process to ensure everything gets addressed properly. Please visit https://s.chevy.com/support-request and fill out our support form so a member of our team can follow up with next steps.

I'm at 4,500 miles and thanks Chevy Cust Serv. I'll do that but don't worry. I've never enjoyed a car more!

Are those covered under the extended warranty (GMPP platinum)? It's ridiculous for them to fail at 4500 miles
