Default tpms relearn

I switched wheels over to a set i ran last week at the track. tpms relearn worked great. put the street tires on after track day and again relearn worked perfectly. went back to the track tires for tomorrow's event and the rf won't trigger. anyone ever have this happen? any suggestions to get the rf to trigger? the other three corners trigger.

Definitely should be automatic after a short drive. You can use a device like this for the learn as well if needed.

Default tpms

swapped the tires from right to left and the problem.moved with the tire. put a different set of tires on and relearn worked. going to take the suspect wheel to a local mechanic i trust and see if he can check the sensor. probably going to have to buy a good tpms tool because the "trigger" tool can't tell anything about the sensor.

Are you using aftermarket TPMS sensors? I know that some get 'cooked' at the track easier than OEM ones. Even the OEM ones get cooked. It often helps to invest in a good, long cool-down lap to reduce your temps before you get to the paddock...

Default tpms tool

Definitely have to get a better tool and a spare set of sensors. I could just see driving 8 hours to daytona then not be able to run because the tpms won't relearn. My 24 goes into some kind of a "limp mode" if the tpms isn't working. interestingly my wife's 26 doesn't do that. The $8.00 flasher is nice IF it works. With a better tool I'll be able to check the health of the sensors before changing tires and before going to the track

This is what I use. I actually have a more advanced/expensive TPMS tool that reads battery level, but it has issues working with the C8 TPMS (will trigger about 75% of the time).
