1) Replacing my C8 Stingray with a Z06 ASAP
2) Have no C8 Stingray and getting a Z06 ASAP
3) Waiting to see the Z06 before doing anything
4) Waiting to buy a Z06 for less than MSRP
5) Keeping my Stingray and no interest in the Z06
6) No interest in a C8 period
7) Something else (explain)
While I'm on a Z06 waiting list, I'm still not sure about leaving it for the E-Ray list??? I feel I need more information about the E-Ray to make the decision that's right for me! We know they're testing the E-Ray, that it will be in the Z06 body and same tires, but even so I need info about the interior, hp rating including 0-60 and 1/4 times miles and how it might differ from the Z06 both inside and out to say the least! I've had a 2014 Cadillac ELR and in hindsight, I should have kept that car. I liked the quietness and acceleration of the EV and they were nothing like today's EV's. C'mon GM, give us MORE information on the E-Ray!!!
On K's C8Z list, have a 15 C7Z07 and 05 C6 F1x and 10 CTS-V 950+ and 17 Stang--none will be sold, the C8Z will probably be the last new performance car I buy, as I am not yet sold on Ecars.
Wasn't sold on the stingray, mostly because I have a ZL1 1LE already and it didn't seem like much of an upgrade. I'm loving the look of the Z06 and looking forward to adding it to my garage.
Had to select other. My plan was all along to get my 2021 (should have been a 2020) and drive it for 3 years, and then get the C8 Z06. I most definitely do not want a first year Z06. I'd prefer a 3rd year. I will keep that car forever with my other two C6 Z06's.
Yeah i think i'm set on ceramic matrix gray. If not, then it's a toss up between arctic white, blade silver or rapid blue, which i'm assuming those colors will be part of the options to choose from.
But as we're getting closer, i'm getting excited lol. I hope what i been asking for for the past couple of months come true!!
One article i saw that GM will be producing the most powerful NA V8 in the world in a production car. Of course it's all speculations but imagine??? Please GM!
Kind of fun going back a year and reading posts about the Z06. Most thought the HP was going to be 600
This guy got it right, but I am not so sure he believed GM could pull it off on a NA V8. I didn't think it was possible at the time either. I bet if the poll was on projected HP there wouldn't have been many saying it would be 670.
Now let's start production or at least surprise us with the price.

lol i mean i am going for that trifecta, which is the pricing.
I already got 2 of 3 correct. I been saying NA for the longest and people thought i was nuts. I knew this would be the way. No way they're going to go from stingray LT2, to monster TT FPC 700+hp in the z06 for 85k. I still laugh at the posts of the many people who actually believed that lol.
But i got tired of laughing. Now it's about pricing (i say 95k starting) and availability. I'm fine with 95k, hell i'm fine with 100k starting or even 105k starting. I just want them to start building them so i can hopefully drive mine around fall of 2023 since i'm low 300s at MM.

I am sticking with $89,995 including delivery.now that I see the 2023 SR pricing. Actually feel pretty confident on that. Based on my pasted history, I wouldn't take it to the bank or sell the farm at this point.
Something else. The pricing along with the unannounced dealer’s markup is very discouraging; I gave up on my 3 year wait on the Z06. I just placed an order for this…
Getting a new 21 gt500 to hold me over until the z06 comes then trading it towards a new z06 hopefully. If and or whenever that happens if we’re all still alive And civilization hasn’t ended yet.
i had the opportunity to drive a gt500 with track-pack and carbon fiber wheels on track recently. all i can say is WOW! that car was awesome. never thought i would say this being a die hard corvette owner/chevy guy, but if my dealer plays games with me or if it takes too much longer for the z06 to actually be available i will seriously consider a gt500.
I am a big Mustang fan and in fact have one of the first 2012 2012 Boss 302. One of the best track type cars I ever drove. Will never sell it.
The new GT 500 is a beast in the straight line and once it gets hooked up will beat a C8 at the end of a 1/4.
But if you are looking for a track car you need to look at a video of a guy who has both. He is young dude that drove both in the same day. He then shows side by side overlapping. I have raced both open and close wheel purpose build cars all with the engines in the rear. Watch the hands of both cars in corners. You will see why GM put the engine where it belongs.
I will try and find the site for this guy. He is getting a Z06 with the 07 option. Hope he does a similar comparison.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
