I have a C8 which I track and love. I transport it on the largest Trailex open trailer and it barely fits. I have about 2 inches clearance on each side. The Z06 looks incredible and I have a deposit down, but it looks to be significantly wider, and there is no way it will fit on my trailer. I think it will be too wide for most trailers. Great for performance, and no doubt a track monster, if you can get it to the track. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Wait for the dimensions to come out, determine if your present trailer will be able to handle the new vehicle. Anticipate it will be at least three inches wider than the standard bodied C8. Prepare to be in the market for a new custom trailer to transport your new C8 Z06 to the track. Or drive it to the track and transport your "track tires and wheels" in a smaller trailer, pulled by your new C8 Z06. (I personally would not do that, but I have seen it done.)
It should still be less than 80" which is what most trailers are inside the fenders. Also, typically, the rear is the widest part on a ME car, so you could still pull it on, provided you keep the wider rear behind the fender box.

true, but you need some wiggle room. I would say 2 inches on each side is as close as I am comfortable with. I’ve got 45 track days on my C8 so I’m pretty skilled at loading it, but it’s still a bitch.

I modified our trailer. There is usually a lot of space between the fender and tire. A good fabricator can give you a couple inches on both sides. might save your buying a new trailer.
