Default PDR Optional?

Says the PDR is "Available". Does that mean its an option to add on or that its only with 2LZ and 3LZ?

Hey there! While I don't have the answer to your question regarding Z06 specifically, it's worth noting that on the base C8, PDR only requires the addition of "Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Premium System with Navigation and 8" diagonal HD color touchscreen", currently a
$1,795 option. Otherwise, it's available on no-option cars. I'd be surprised if requirements were to be different on Z06, but that's always possible.

To clarify, on the C8 Stingray (and also on the C7 Z06, so a good pattern here), PDR is an option on the lowest package (1LT/1LZ). It is standard with the higher packages (2LT,3LT/2LZ, 3LZ). No reason to thin it will be any different, but as noted, we can't say for sure.

EDIT: Thanks to First Vette Z06 below, only standard on 3LZ for the Z7 Z06, optional on 1 and 2.

This… I’ve had a 1LT, a 2LT, and another 1LT ordered. Have to select IOT to get NAV/PDR on a 1LT.

Correction - it was an option on the 2LZ for the C7 Z06, at least for the 2016 year. My 2LZ did not have it. I expect/hope it will be an option for 2LZ again with the C8. I have zero use for that feature so no point paying 1,800 for the option.

Yes, thank you for correcting. I believe it was only standard on the 3LZ for the entire C7 Z06 run.

The Chevrolet Z06 page shows PDR as standard for 2LZ.

Not sure what Chevy page you’re looking at since they haven’t made Z06’s in years, but as far as I know, it was always an option on the 2LZ for the C7 - many C7 forum posts on this topic, even into late 2019.

It was definitely an option on the 2016 2LZ.

Regardless, we’ll just have to wait and see what they do with the C8Z options.
