On this list, the C8 ZR1 assuming it is FI on top of the 670 HP of the Z. That's going to be one nasty machine. I can't afford it so I'll have to play with my C8Z.
FIrst world problems when the best we can do is a C8Z 🤣🤣🤣 ...guess we'll learn to adapt😁

For.me.thenonlu thing that will make me second guess the C8Z being a forever Vette is if the come out with a light weight version of the LT6

NA, FPC, all in a shell that looks like an actual supercar. The C7 was close. But no cigar. And as amazing as the LT4 sounded incredible, as well as all GM LS/LT engines, they sound like boats at idle. And is more of a traditional muscle car sound.
The C8 isn't a muscle car. It is an exotic. So the LT6 is perfect for the z06.
I don't want TT and i'm glad GM went NA with the z06. Perhaps the ZR1 will be an LT6 + electric assist, no turbos. But i think they would utilize a different engine and not the LT6 if they did TT or electric assist and no turbos, it won't be an LT6 IMHO.
So my vote is z06. Over and over again. The car is perfection.
I will own it until the government makes it to the point where you can't even own these cars anymore. Hopefully i'll be dead by then.

No body knows but my pure guess is the ZR1 will be RWD only with LT6 and electric turbos. I believe GM will throw everything at the Zora....it will be the technology showcase...boosted 1000HP including the electric motors driving all wheels. Not my thing but I will droooool over it 😁
Who knows...GM might produce the GS but it is still built on the base C8 with some added trim and.performsnce options...nothing definitely wrong with that. If that's what you want vote for the base C8.
It's not what I want. Just saying it would sell like crazy.
As of now I'm keeping my Stingray and getting the Z06 as an add C5 is going to make room. If the ZR1 is what we think it is I'll probably reluctantly sell my Stingray and do ZR1 next to the Z06. By then with everything going electric I probably will be done for a long time. At some point there might be electric with a soul, but I'm just going to enjoy what we are getting. It's a little bloated weight wise but honestly there aren't many other faults in the C8. The quality of the interior is excellent, the performance is outstanding, and the over all drive experience is outstanding. GM really took the gloves off for the last hurrah of the ICE sports car.
It's just amusing to see people still upset at GM's decision 2 months later. Like let it go already lol.
People can say it was wrong and dumb all they want. And whether they might be right or wrong (definitely wrong lol), still won't change the results.
Us z06 fans got OUR ULTIMATE C8. Others really have to let it go and pray for THEIR ultimate C8.
I'm a Z06 fan and have been since the beginning, doesn't mean I don't want turbos.... And they've made FI Z06's as you obviously know so you don't have to be an NA fanboy to like a Z06.
The rest you're correct on though, it is what it is.... Guys like me got let down after waiting for years, literally, while you got your dream and are screaming about it from the roof tops rubbing it in every chance you get .

True, some of us got our dream Z06...but yours is coming.
As far as FI Z06 there was only one generation with it vs 4 generations of the Z06. I feel GM held true to the soul of the Z06. I feel the FI is reserved for the ZR1 and Zora. Yes, I'll be drooling over those performance models but will happily live with my C8Z.
GM did well by making a version that will meets most people's desires.
The Z06 is the car I've been looking for since I sold my NSX almost 16 years ago. I've been waiting for someone to make a "Super NSX" with a reasonable price tag, I just never expected it to be Chevy. It sure as heck isn't the thing being called an NSX today. This will be my first american car since 1987 (Daytona Shelby Z). Well, the C8 Stingray will be my 1st but I already plan to sell it once it's my turn for a Z06 and will keep it forever. I have no interest in batteries or turbos, the C8 Z06 HTC checks all the boxes I had on my imaginary car bucket list.
I'm fine with LT6 HP but admit I'm a little disappointed in the behemoth weight. Really was hoping they would.do more to reduce the wet weight down to 3500-3550. Nothing against turbo(s) but considering my use/driving I prefer the NA C8Z and is the one I want to keep for ever. My hope is GM creates a higher performance level (aka- reduced weight) that will change mind.
Agreed in regards to weight. I understand why though given what they (amazingly) already offered and the price point they have to hit for the Z06.
Completely making this up, but I really think they will focus and spend money on weight savings (especially with all the weight they will have to add) with the future higher dollar performance variants, specifically in regards to the modular Bedford 6 frame. If there ends up being meaningful weight savings there, I could see them eventually passing that down to a special edition C8 Z06 later on in its lifecycle. An even better version of a Z06 Carbon Edition if you will, the same amazing C8 Z06 formula in an even lighter spec.
I picked the ZR1 but I'm hoping the Zora is TT and the ZR1 is LT6 + electric assist AWD. I don't want them to change the exhaust sound by adding TT to the LT6. I think Zora will be TT + electric. Although I picked the C8Z as it is what I want - NA bespoke FPC mid engine high rpm goodness…and I will never mod it…electric assist - which could keep the exhaust note - high rpm - isn’t a complete write off for me…It will add weight to be sure - but - imagining that the electric assist will add 200 HP or more - with deep low end torque and a high rpm HP motor…would be quite the combo. Turbos are out for me. I don’t want the sound muffled or rpm reduced because the power band changes.
Until I see evidence of that option with any other C8 - the bespoke Gemini is where I firmly sit.
For me, I've learned that no car is my "forever car". The Corvette name & brand may be my forever "brand" car, but no one model or generation will be. Maybe that will change as I near retirement but for now I will probably upgrade every 3-4 years. I have a C8 HTC which I JUST took delivery of in late October and I'm already thinking about how I will spec my Z06 when my number comes up. We'll see.
1604494237[/url]]So far nobody is interested in an Eray.... or did I label the option incorrectly by saying "everything" electric. That was meant to read as C8 Eray which is a "hybrid" performance model and not "all" electric.
Eray is not for me but there has to be some that want it.
I’m on the Stingray Future Variant list for the e-Ray. IMHO the enthusiasts that are waiting for their C8Z aren’t buying “yesterday’s” Corvette; nothing about the C8Z or the e-Ray says yesterday.
In the words of Muhammed Ali, GM will “Shock The World” with the e-Ray!
While I love the C8Z, I really don't want anything naturally aspirated anymore and if I did, I want it to be AWD. So, for the sake of practicality and bang for the buck, I'd choose the E-Ray in almost all situations outside of an actual race track (not drag strip).
