This was the engine - 4.2 TT - that Cad developed and then killed after 2 years ('19 and '20). We ordered a '20 CT6-V and waited 11 months to get it built and delivered (seemed long at the time, but a really short time compared to the C8's). Really like the V. Tons of torque (640) and the car is relatively light for being such a big car. 4 wheel steering and AWD too. It was neck/neck vs. our '17 GS. Stayed right with it and actually pulled the GS a bit after 70ish - probably due to the 10 spd trans. They only built about 350 of the Blackwing V's in each of the 2 years. Will be interesting to see what happens to longevity of the engine. 10k so far and it runs better than ever. Might have been a cool engine for one of the C8 variants, but alas...
I'll keep the V, but will also get an eRay when they come out. On a list. We'll see when.....................
