Thats a lot of coin! I saw the pics of the car at Ciocca this week and it didn't have the CF engine cover and it looked Blaaahhh. I hope someone makes an aftermarket engine cover with some color to it , like a red Carbon Fiber.
$2k-ish make sense...the 2 carbon panels in the engine bay of the stingray cost $1k and it looks like they'll carry over to the z06, then considering the higher complexity of the new carbon z06 engine cover it'll probably be that $2k-ish for a total of $3k-ish for all 3 pieces. Considering the z06 intake plenum isn't exactly beautiful, the carbon seems like a must have for coupe buyers.
