I was at my Chevrolet dealership this morning building a Zo6 order and I asked the owner when he thought they might get their first allocation. He said lucky for me his regional rep was coming later today and he would ask. According to him the rep said every “corvette dealer” (are all Chevrolet dealerships not corvette dealers?) should receive at least 1 allocation in the first 2 quarters. Can anyone confirm this?

I spoke with a local dealer today. They still don't know how many allocations they are getting, and you can't even order one yet. He pulled up the Z06 order sheet, and it is showing no pricing.
He said he heard orders might start Aug 11th, and some Z06 options are probably not going to be available.
All chevy dealers sell corvettes, and I would assume ALL are getting at least one allocation..The top 5 aren't getting all the allocations, I don't see that happening.

Call a few small Chevrolet dealers in rural Texas and you will quickly realize that not all Chevrolet dealers sell Corvettes! It's a separate product line than the other Chevrolet models...
There are 2900 Chevy dealers in the US of COURSE not only 5 dealers are getting allocations, lol.
Corvette is a Chevrolet model, it's not a "separate product line." But, in order to have the privilege of selling Corvettes a dealer must pay to train one or more salespeople, tech, advisor, etc and if the dealer is out in BFE, the juice ain't worth the squeeze.
Special model training requirements are common for low volume price outliers for a given brand. Nissan GTR had the same thing, as well as many others.

Funny story. In my quest to find a Z06 I ended up going to small low volume dealerships. Turns out this is not true. I found a Chevy dealer who said they cannot (or do not) sell Corvette.

My local Chevy dealer here in WV does not sell or even do warranty work on Corvette.
