Default Ground Effects option question.

Hey guys sorry if this has been asksed.

I'm looking at the:

CFV: Carbon Fiber Visible Ground Effects

and

CFZ Carbon Fiber, Carbon Flash Painted Ground Effects

I'm considering one of these two potentially but had this question if anyone knew. Playing around with the visualizer tonight, it appears the shape of the side shirts do not change, and you end up getting a different lip (yes i know the material changes).

Can anyone confirm that? If that is the case, I'll wait for paragon to put out a nice lip and save the money.

My understanding is that they share the shape and material, the only difference is that the Carbon flash is painted (to cover visual imperfections in the carbon fiber).

Honestly if i was considering the Carbon Flash version of the optional splitter and side skirts on a non-Z07, I’d probably just hold off and wait for a much cheaper replica version from the aftermarket.

That's probably what I'm doing. I figure ACS or someone will make one that is a lot less than $3,000. They can make it out of fiberglass for all I care.

Agreed… and a lot less painful to repair/replace should it get damaged.

I wonder how much purchase and install would end up being, probably close to $3000 anyway? I could do the install myself but I have no lift, would have to buy some kind of ramps, probably a rivet gun and God only knows what else…

I’d sure hope not, most would just order OEM if so. I’d guess around half of that.
