it's the "euro" recepie that all the big boys (Merc, Audi, Ferrari, Mickeys, ect....) have adopted.
the individual scvanging bays and built in "crank scrapers" like a windage tray provide great oil control
ideally, they keep the big rpms to provide a very broad power band. The turbos will make up any concerns over torq and provide lots of head room for more down the road once tuning opens up
just like the base car, if there is a demand and a market, it will evenually happen.
the TT car for me needs to NOT have a front motor and be lightened up to make up for the heavy hair dryers and plumbing
the car will pull like an angry elephant and make up for the crappy gearing above 3rd with lots of mid range torq.
look at how many cars NOW pull under 2.5 sec to 60 You spend MOST of your life there, so might as well optimize it. Like to see something that keeps a bit of sweat on the electrics and doesn't run out of juice on trips or on the track
the turbo haters will finally see what chevy has been working on.
I love the blown vettes, but the turbo cars have so many advantages for boost control, boost by speed, and advanced traction control. With that type of setup, we'll indeed have a new KOTH
