I plan (at the moment) to choose a base color, black or white, with carbon fiber everything (unless I leave it black, then CF does little for me) and find a color that POPS to wrap the car.
Bright yellow and Green are on my list.
Anyone out there planning to wrap?
I am for sure. I plan on doing a new wrap every year, or every other year. Base is going to be rapid blue, with all black interior. This way I can wrap it in any color I want. I too am thinking of green for the first wrap, just not sure what shade yet..

What are they charging out in Cali to wrap a car?
I will definitely be wrapping my car. I wrapped my TR C8 in Avery Carmine red just to get a truer red. I might get white and wrap it pearl white or go a totally different direction. I’m paying about $7k out here for full wrap plus PPF in key areas and ceramic.
Shokosugi your C8 looks fantastic!!! The Avery Carmine red is a deep red and I also like your rims!!! Beautiful car!!! Thanks for sharing. I had a Porsche 911 GTS in Carmine red. I wrapped it after two years in a bluish silver which was very nice. That cost me $7500. Now I just checked with the same guys and the price is $8500. So East coast prices seem to be about the same as the West coast. What percent is your window tinting? Did you change the shade of red on the brake calipers? Thanks.

Gordy
If you plan to wrap def go with a darker color, Easier to hide the door jams and panel lines. So many great options out there at the moment, Avery, 3m, Oracle, Inoztek, Vinyl Frog. Whatever you do order samples first, some of those colors pictures do no justice. They have to be seen in the sunlight to get the true effect. Post pictures when you do!
I have found places that charge under $3,000 and over $8,000. Not sure the price reflects quality. Like with all else, some love their work and others love money.

Go with a deep purple.
More importantly did you get into your car, and how did you do it?
I did not know about the key insert on the left side (behind drive door) in the air intake. You take the little key out of the key fob and after inserting have to really apply pressure to open the driver door. Once I figured that out I accessed the battery (saw a video) and replaced. Incidentally, the third battery in 2.5 years.
I will most likely wrap my Z, Black Rose with Hypersonic silver stripes that mimic the GM stripes, and match the door jams of the hypersonic silver car.

Beautiful color! Thanks for posting. That parking lot looks strangely like the Kaiser Santa Clara lot.
I know this is the exact opposite of what you mentioned but, if I had a C8 Z06, I'd likely get it in black and if I did, I'd likely also PPF the whole car in a satin film. I really don't like bright and bold colors on cars that I own.
