Default Curious question.

I’ve just been asking some of my coworkers this;
Since the line for the Z06 is so long. What if another manufacturer like Lexus decided to hop back into the LFA and they create a Hybrid screaming V10 again making similar numbers to the Z06 and the cost was similar to the Z06 Would you as a customer who has to wait think about switching over to that car?

Depends on the styling, performance, et. Now if they offered a manual transmission, then it would be a yes.

I might want to get an LFA for now. But not to replace my desire for the Z06.

Yeah I wouldn’t know because both cars are amazing and the Z06 is what I like. But if Lexus brought back that screaming V10 idk haha 😂 I already have a stingray on order so to diversify the garage would be cool and different

which is why it didn’t sell well effectively killing it but hypothetically speaking if Lexus wanted to revive it. If I was a Lexus executive or head I would be closely watching the C8 Z06

Don't know but the LC in green with the beige interior is one of the most stunning cars on the road.

Never going to happen, and if it does it would be $300K+.

Is it still going to be slower than the C8 stingray like the original LFA for 400k? But it sounds sweet🙄

No offense, silly comparison. Anyways, did you mean LC and not LFA? If so, are your co-workers over the age of 70 by any chance? The LC had potential IMO but the styling and lack of Lexus pushing the boundaries (in both styling and performance) has made it a failure (in sales that is) and a car that is desirable to a very few amount of retirees.

Oldest coworker I know is 50 plus. But no we mean the LFA it came out in 2012 but failed due to pricing and the performance was not up to par but it had a screaming V10 I don’t remember the name of the engine.

No this is just a hypothetical question with let’s say Lexus brings back the V10 around Z06 pricing let’s say it starts at $100,000 even is what the base would start at and has similar power numbers to the Z06.

I prefer the hypothetical Pagani that has a V12 and starts at 19,999

Even if pricing would be equal, which it wouldn’t be… never dreamt of owning an LFA, especially a hybrid version. Doesn’t mean I don’t respect the LFA for the engineering marvel it is… the sound is incredible as well.

Have always dreamt of a new Z06 as my first Corvette and the 458 is one of my all time favorite dream cars. Never imagined my first Z06 would be $150k+, but they delivered what I always dreamt of and even more.

Would be tempting. The new Z06 will likely be hard to beat though.
