Thanks I have carbon fiber and visible on my stingray. I am thinking about keeping the visible when my Z gets here.

Oh, that's what you mean. I don't know if the parts between the Stingray and Z06 are interchangeable, since the Z06 has a wider body. Not sure how that translates to the roof.

Sorry, I thought you just meant style / options.

Last time I checked, just widening the fenders had no impact on the targa roof . I would be shocked if they weren't the same part. The OP keeping his extra top is a great idea!

Yes, the tops are interchangeable. The extra width is in the front and rear fenders, not the passenger compartment.

Default Difference in height

While on the topic of roof panels.

Does anyone know if there is a difference in thickness between the transparent and body color tops?
I am tall, and wasn’t going to get the transparent top, but if it’s even slightly thinner than body color, I will pick transparent.

thanks.

Yes, transparent is thinner. The body color has a liner in the underside which adds thickness.

I had the transparent on my C7Z and absolutely loved it. I would get it again for my C8Z except I opted for the Vert this time.

Yep, the tinted/transparent top is thinner and offers more headroom and a nice feeling of spaciousness. I have it on my '23 Z51 and love it, will most likely never have my painted top on.

As others have stated, the tinted/transparent top should fit either Stingray or Z06 with the Z06 just being wider across the fenders, however it would be nice if someone who actually has a Z06 could check and confirm.
I plan on keeping my tinted/transparent top from my Stingray for my Z06 when it arrives.
