I was one of the early C8 owners through Classic Chevy in Sugar Land, Texas and instantly put down my name on the list for the Z06. The base C8 was always just a placeholder for this. Extremely excited even though I am paying ADM (won’t disclose how much but less than the “prevailing” rates). Wasn’t interested in the Z07/CCBs etc anyways so I’m happy with my fairly basic 2LT build coming in around $126k with FAL, two tone interior, etc. Will be doing custom forged wheels just like I did on the C8 so stuck with the base wheels. Toughest decision was between coupe and convertible but felt I would be doing the LT6 a disservice if I kept it hidden.
Hoping to check back in 8-10 weeks with an update. So pumped!
They estimated 2.5-3 months based on info from Chevy and their prior experience with their last allocations. We shall see.
That seems to long. 2023 MY production is expected to end on June 30 which is three months from last Thursday’s allocations. Add to that it was just reported there will be one more round of 2023 MY allocations before the cycle is complete.
Historical time from event code 3000 to 3400 is about 4 weeks if there are no parts problems, then a TPW within a couple of weeks from 3400. So more like 6–8 weeks from allocation to TPW. That gives time to complete both last week’s round of allocations plus one more by 6/30.
