Porsche was ok'd to activate mine on my 21' and 23' turbo s's,a few months ago, there is a difference (did one car then the other to see the differences) but it was not huge as the lights are fantastic to begin with, and above 70 the pattern changes and throws the light even further. I have porsche service software and had the option on my software but it did not switch it, had to go to the dealership, they checked into it and said they were allowed to do it.

Yes, they are legal in the US now, but the law is still a little different than the rest of the world, so it's more than just the manufacturer activating what was used in other countries, unfortunately.

Yes, you misunderstood. The OP is referring to the new safety features for all Corvettes for 2024 as noted above and no related to existing components.
