HTC Problem

Today on my 2022 HTC when putting the top back up the rear deck comes down and there is a message about a clearance problem. Go outside the car no clearance problem but noticed that the passenger side wing the folds in wasn't working and was resting on the roof panel. Fortunately didn't scratch anything and the cable that flips the wing it was very slack , couldn't see if it came lose or broke. Put it back up and then down let off the switch and as gravity was bring the roof panel back down folded the wing back up held it until if passed the roof panel and then wnet back in the car and completed the the closing of the the roof. Made an appointment with my serving dealer for next week so will post what caused the problem. I love the HTC and use it frequently so hope this issue is a one time deal!

I cant find the thread but last one I read with this issue had no date for repairs. Couldnt get the parts. Hope it works out for you.

Read up in C8 General section, seems more and more issues popping up with the the functioning of the HTC. Good luck with getting it repaired.

It happened on my Stingray. It took about 3 weeks to get the part. They just replaced the cable and it's fine now. The fabric on the winglet got a small mar on it when they held it in putting the top back up so they replaced that too after waiting about 6 weeks for that to come in... It made a hell of a snapping noise when the initial problem occurred...
