Dropping off lists
Dealer called yesterday I was number 2 on the Z06 list. The first guy dropped off so I’m number 1 smaller dealer but they think by winter allocation if this strike gets over soon

I posted this in the Ciocca thread, where I had a deposit. I was at my local dealer the day before yesterday getting the windshield on my SR replaced due to an impact/crack, and in talking to the sales manager about the Eray and how long that would be, I mentioned I was on the Z06 list at Ciocca. He asked if I wanted Z07/aero as he could literally get me an allocation the next day for a "base" Z06 as everyone on his list wanted Z07 and it was on constraint. Needless to say I jumped on it, and my order for a 2LZ Z06 HTC went in yesterday and was accepted. They are doing MSRP with the trade-in of a recent Corvette (C8, C7), which I would have done anyway since there's a big sales tax benefit on that here in Nebraska.

The clear cover for the HTC is on constraint right now. My understanding is that the engine should still have the plaque with the builder's name.

I passed on one this morning as all CF exterior and Interior (not wheels) were in constraint from my local dealers allocation including Red intake cover. Passed until I can get what I want

I think it’s actually the clear cover that’s on constraint, but you can’t get the red intake without the cover because that’s the way the system is set up.
