A bunch of you guys sound like the democrats when they were hoping for recession so they could get trump out and the night watchman off Andy Griffith in.
Montana dealer sell 2 C8's $3000 UNDER
MSRP. Could the Z06 be next to start at msrp?
Could be. Ciocca in Quakertown, PA has a C8 discounted at 2k off.
C8Z on the lot at A&T Chevrolet in Sellersville, PA with CF but non Z07 and an ADM still sitting. Their first one they sold in just hours for 70k over.

Two of them. But one is a 2023 with low mileage.
And the other is a 2024 3LT HTC loaded with $11,000 worth of options priced at almost 100 grand. Dealers trying to get cute by ordering stock cars with tons of options so they can maximize profits are going to find those sitting soon (like this one is).
Those were cars ordered before the price hike. So dealer just offering them for the original msrp window sticker is higher than what they expected. So its like 3k off but not really 3k off if you can understand that concept.
Z06 will maintain strong, perhaps some of the higher ADM's are done.. but no doubt I've seen at least a ton of people announcing that they finally got their Z06 order in in the last two-three weeks!
Lolll 4 years in and tens of thousands more built than Z06 will ever touch... Keep dreaming
Over time, as Z06 demand decreases and availability increases, if the specs they selected for the allocations the dealerships took for themselves aren't as desirable to potential buyers as they had hoped the cars may end up sitting longer than they anticipated and potentially being discounted.

Current number on C8Zs seems to be around $20K over... seeing $15-$20K advertised new on Facebook. $50-$70 over is done, unless you have a Z07 70th. Also, these big number buyers at the auctions are exporters and you, the seller, will get GM blacklisted when it happens.
It depends on the area. Winter Chevrolet just sold a 2023 Z03 with 3lz that had a sticker of $105, 000 plus a $20,000 markup. The markups are still out there. But what they get for them is another matter.
Very far from any major metro; that will limit sales volume in these areas. Many people don't want to/don't have the time to make a trip that far to buy a car, even a Corvette.

IMO the ADMs will remain in place for about a year. Going into the winter of 24/25 will bring the car to MSRP in most locations. There is a finite number of folks willing to plunk down 140k+ for a Chevy. All of the got to have it crowd will have one by then. Interest rates will affect many people (me) considering this car. I planned on putting about half down which will still net a $1500/mo payment on a nicely spec’d car. I’m not sure I’ll enjoy this car enough to justify that payment vs a C7Z with no payment and likely no discernible depreciation

Sound logic that makes sense, but it doesn't account for the thousands that are still 3-4 years out on wait list and those who cant even get on a list now for MSRP.
Nor does it account for the lower production of the Z06 (~30% of total volume).
So if we use the C8 Stingray as a gauge. 4 years in but still some waiting at many dealerships if you want it your way AND for MSRP.
With twice the amount of Stingrays being produced as the Z06, Stingray demand is still strong.
Keep in mind the majority of folks getting Z06's now/today have been on wait list 2-3 years.
So yes a finite number of folks willing to pay for a Z06 but for now and the next 2-3 years those willing to pay will out number the amount of cars that can be produced.
I believe ADM's will shrink but some folks that don't want to wait any longer will pay a mark up to move ahead in line and get a Z06 now vs 3 or 4 years from now.
Regardless of how we look at it, demand for C8 Z06's will be strong for years to come.

Not to mention eRay (and to a lesser extent, ZR1) production eating into Z06 production.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
