Default Any regrets on your spec?

Just curious to those that have taken delivery- any regrets on any choices you made on the order form?

What a horrible response. Get out of this thread. Back button is much easier than a snarky, useless, high horse comment.

Absolutely! I got black interior & any of the numerous combinations of red/black interior are so much better. Possibly the red intake but I really don’t care on that.

I had the same complaint on my stingray. Red mist and the safe black interior...but in reality its super boring and just a sea of black.

Went the opposite on the Z06- Red dipped and level 2 carbon and stealth trim

I went back and forth on black mirrors and spoiler or "all blue". My '20 and '21 were "all blue" and my '22 coupe was black mirrors w/ black spoiler and then black high wing. I reverted to "all blue" for the Z06 but at times wish I had picked the black mirrors/spoiler as I really like how the black mirrors make them disappear. Sometimes I like the blue mirrors, sometimes I think they look like weird bug antennae.

@RapidC84B Just get them wrapped in black vinyl. Which provides a bonus benefit of paint protection.

I was in a similar predicament on whether to do body color or black nacelles for my HTC. I went with body color, not only because I think it looks better, but it's WAY easier to wrap them in black if I ever want to, then to try to wrap them in body color which would never match.

I've been asked that if I ordered another one today it would be spec'd the exact same way. I got everything I want and love the car.

Ironically, the mirrors were the one thing we changed from my original decision. With HTC, we have black roof, and I though black mirrors. Wife thought it would be too much black and to go blue. Turns out I love it blue (but we have a lot of black to begin with). Wouldn't change a thing on ours...

No regrets at all. I had almost 3 years between deposit and delivery so no excuses for not getting it right!

Nope.

white w/black and red trim has served me well in all of my sporty cars and SUVs.

I think I would've tried rapid this time around but wife can't stand it. I rented a Z51 in that color and she hated it (for carlisle last year since my Z wasn't here yet). But the truth is I just don't get tired or regret the same white black red.

I had a beautiful shark gray Z06 with twilight blue interior and I constantly did things to the appearance because I wasn't truly satisfied with it.

Great topic... I have three weeks to finalize my build. Very curious if anyone regrets getting the Front Lift, or if they regret getting the Natural (not dipped) interior with Red Mist.

Does it count if I took delivery of a Z06 that was a backed out order?

I don't mind the spec but its nowhere near my ideal spec, afterall someone else built it.

Mine is a Z07 2LZ convertible in red mist with black interior and black and roof. My ideal would be Rapid blue with black interior and yellow stitching or torch red with the custom adrenaline red interior that includes two tone seats and black interior with red stitching.

Minor stuff, but i think some would've delayed my car more.

Red intake
Front grills (had to DIY my own which turned out ghetto looking but it's only temporary until spring lol)
Suede steering wheel? (i can't remember if i could option just that on a 1LZ or if i had to go with a higher trim)

That's pretty much it. I wanted the above but i optioned the most bare bones 1LZ coupe spec just so i can get the car as fast as i could. This time last year, or even at the beginning of this year i thought i'd be driving this car in calendar 2025 or at best summer of 2024. But it's home and i'm happy.

No regrets on color spec though. CMG with red seats is exactly what i wanted since day 1 (almost picked hypersonic or torch red though).

ya, I am (one day lol) doing the 2 tone red interior with carbon 2 interior on my red mist bc that’s exactly my fear, a sea of just another boring black interior. I’m more worried about that than a the red mismatch, particularly as you can only see the edges of the red seats from outside the car

No real regrets with mine. Like many, I gave up on the Z07 package to move forward with my order, but I'm still really satisfied with how it turned out.

I did order mine with the rear Jake stripes to offset the visual loss of the big wing, but, didn't care for them once I spent some time looking at it in real life, so I had the PPF guy remove them when I had the car done.

The CF2 package cuts down on the interior red so it will be fine. Just don't get the red seat belts as they are a slightly different red and having 3 reds near each other doesn't go well.

I have black interior with red stitching and red belts (plus CF1 with stealth), but I think you're going to like the CF2 and red two tone. I'd probably go that way if I had a redo.

No. You have to do your homework before you order. Then there are no regrets. The information is out there.
