The people placing orders at MSRP right now basically fall into 2 categories:
1. People who been on a waiting list for a very long time (measured in years)
2. People who just got super lucky and had an MSRP deal fall into their lap

Ok, Well if that’s the case I’ll wait until the dealers can’t sell them and get a deal. It’s going to happen
Can 2024 Z06’s be ordered at MSRP? Are any dealers even taking orders? I refuse to pay dealer markup. Thanks
@onetechyguy I'm assuming on you're on BaT. What do you think of this one? I have no affiliation with BaT or the seller but it's $145K MSRP with current bid at $137K which does not include the $5K BaT fee for the buyer.
It will be interesting to see what the market is like a year from now. ADM's have come down significantly on Z06's. $100k ADM was not unheard of when the Z06's first started hitting the streets. The "norm" around that time was $50k probably 5 months ago. Now it is probably $25k. And I have seen a few at $15-$20k (although, generally those are lower optioned cars). There have been a couple that I have seen people get very lucky on with being able to get at MSRP on the lot. Typically that was because of a good relationship between a dealer and a customer.
I do not foresee MSRP deals happening any time soon for brand new cars though, considering the top dealers in the nation all have waiting lists that are longer than the allocations they will receive.
I think your best bet is to keep a close eye on the used cars. That is probably the best way to get a good deal on a C8 Z06. Just make sure to buy one that has not had it's warranty voided by a flipper.
Getting MSRP is possible but you will be waiting while.
If you're waiting for Z06s to start appearing in stock because the waitlists have all evaporated and expect to get under MSRP it will most likely not happen.
If it does happen it will be many years from now and at that point the price increases Year over Year will cost more then you buying one at MSRP or paying a 10k ADM now.
My advice would be to buy one now if you want one but not pay anything over 10k.
Ordering, maybe. But picking one up for a decent price not really. Prices on barely driven pre-owned seem to be all over the board. Here's one that sold for $149k with an MSRP of $142 and change.

You’re not reading the op’s request.
The op says he wants to buy one at MSRP and will NOT pay ADM. He has a long wait.
No I read it just fine. '24s are probably going to get another price bump before the model year is over. So picking one up now for a few $k over would be near equivalent to paying MSRP a year or so from now.
You're going to be making compromises if you buy one on a lot. Just like the one posted on this thread? Red with natural interior. Ok. But if it was desirable it would be higher in the bidding.
Just like the "I stumbled onto an msrp deal at xxx dealership!" And its some God awful spec they compromised on because they wanted to own one. More power to em.

There was a nicely spec'd 3LZ someone posted at a dealership in upstate NY at MSRP just the other day.

If you read it, you just didn’t comprehend what you read.
Your’re hilarious. Just one of those guys that likes to prove people wrong, even when they’re not.
I’ve seen it many times from you in replies I make. SMH.

Funny you picked out my post, which simply stated that he maybe waiting a long time to order one at MSRP or he could choose to buy one now as MSRP will continue to increase as he waits, thus he may end up paying more at MSRP in a year or two than buying one now for a few $k over. Apparently that was too difficult to understand even though more than one of us said same thing

Probably not ordered without a long wait, but they have been showing up on dealership lots with customers that cancelled orders, or can not afford it now, was not the spec I was looking for but they sold at sticker, both were 1Z option cars

The auction still has 5 days left. It likely will close much higher.
