Default Check engine Code P2A0B

Received a check engine light for code P2A0B for emissions. Anyone else have this code? What was the fix?

Built 10-6-23. 256 miles. All stock. I have an appointment with the dealer on Friday.

A search on the web showed it is an o2 sensor voltage reading issue?

How many times have you driven the car since? May just be a one off thing. There has been plenty of that with these cars reading here and on fb.

This engine is so on the edge of what they could squeak past the current emissions standards that o often think what is normal for this engine is not always making it in between the parameters gm has to set re emissions.

It's why at the time they just slapped a supercharger onto the old LT1 for the last gen Z06 and an even bigger one on the ZR1 as opposed to coming up with the LT6 then.

Tadge said it in one of the "ask tadge" segments that were so awesome.

He said the reason they didn't try to make an updated LS7 is it would've never passed the emissions at the time (with the current tech?).

So having said that - like your issue and several others I've read on here makes me wonder if a cel for an o2 reading put of whack now and then will be par for the course.

I haven’t driven the car since the code appeared. But will be driving it Friday. Hopefully it’s minor or just a fluke that will be easily resolved.

Sometimes it can be something silly like a loose gas cap.

I did fill up the gas tank the day before. That would make sense. I will need to check it.

There is no gas cap on C8's.

For those wondering, it’s a bad mass air flow sensor. It also tripped a transmission code 0700. Dealer should have the part in 7 to 10 days or sooner.
