Looking for base Z06
Following is an example, granted only one. I looked at a number of available 1LZ's with essentially no options. Pricing certainly was attractive, except they had been at dealerships for a while.
I lucked into 2024 Z that had been ordered eight months ago, and arrived ten days ago. It was a 3LZ Coupe, Hypersonic Grey, carbon/ceramic brakes, good amount of carbon fiber options from interior to spoilers, optional graphite grey wheels w/red stripe, w/Jake Racing hood and rear decals (w/light grey) which colors matched the car colors perfectly, two roofs.
MSRP was $152K. Because someone had a deposit on the car meant that it was not "sold". It took a few days for the dealer to reach the person with the deposit as they were on vacation. During thast time, since it wasn't "sold" it was automatically put on the dealers website. Dealers, prospects, flippers, etc. all saw the car. Because it was attractive both from an aesthtic perspective, and an option perspective, they were all clamoring like crazy to buy it, but could not because of the deposi. After a few days the dealer talked with the prospective customer who said I'll pass. I then thankfully received a call immediately offering me the car, to which I said, I'll take it. I offered a reasonable ADM because I knew they could sell it in a flash and I appreciated their call to me. I recognized that I have no interest whatsoever in flipping the car, although I can easily get $25K or more for flipping this car now, never mind the increase in interest come Springtime. So me of the carbon fiber pieces are effectively not even available. Another consideration was that I am on two lists for a ZR!, but that's a whole other technical discussion.
