Might be possible to remove the cosmetic exhaust tip panel and clamp a turn down onto the center pipes to turn the sound away from the dB pick up point

==============================thats a great idea. The only problem is that it would require removing rear buimper cover to remove quad tips. I’ll look for a solution Monday. 4 quantity 90 degree removable turn downs should reduce DB by -3

That's weird. Do they expect us all to bring hybrid, electric, and turbo cars or something? I'm sure there's a way to muffle or tone down the sound if you see a reputable exhaust or muffler shop. I would expect the vehicle to tone down when you go into the settings but I don't know if that would have an impact on performance or throttle response at the same time. I usually leave mine in z mode or the highest performance settings all the time and if I wanted to quiet down, I just turn off the z mode.

Yep, you can use Z Mode or My Mode to configure the exhaust noise level quite a bit. I believe you will find a level where you can pass the sound booth OK but still get great performance from that LT6!
Here's what they expect for 92 dB. There are tens of GT3/4RS's here, all looking like either of these two styles. 10 minute bolt on at the track.
It's an absolute abomination, but we are looking for a similar solution. I can avoid CMT but it may come handy for Lime Rock Park as well which has also got a low sound limit these days--stock z06 exhaust with engine sound set to tour mode and full throttle will guarantee a black flag.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to get through a single session tomorrow. It's a shame indeed. The track itself is great. The lovely new neighbours has successfully sued the circuit (in existence for over 60 years) for millions. I applaud the locals for finding these compromising solutions and a way to still enjoy it.

Ugh, forgot about the valve opening at WOT in all modes except Weather which would suck on track.
People need to get their **** together including the … #1 … realators making sure the clients know there is a track nearby. Every single track will be closed down eventually if something isn’t done about this.
We just had a road course shut down in AZ. The golf club built nearby complained and got a 94 dB level put in. Other neighbors complained too, the ones that moved in after the track was there. The race track shares its northern fence with Luke AFB. I went there once with my C6Z, flapper valves safety wired shut (not a good idea) and I passed. If I had driven out and parked on the track paving and shut off the engine, I would have failed anytime the F22s or F35s took off.
Here in our town they are building 1000's of new home a 1/4 mile off the main runway flight path to our busy local airport with a few commercial flights and quite a few business jets taking off every day..
I guess we need to find a new hobby and fly/rent/own small airplanes to fly around town after being trained and certified.
... before the local airport gets shut down. Our local gliderport just got shut down because of ONE nasty neighbor. All the other neighbors loved having us there. We used a winch to launch the gliders and that small block Chevy engine was muffled and located nearly a mile from that neighbor. The county supported our operation (not financially) but we were on state land and operated where cattle grazed. He complained to the state, they were aware of the county and local support, but still shut us down.
