Can my 24 Z06 be driven in track mode all the time or is it not good for tranny and motor ?

I'm no expert but, I think track mode only changes the settings of stability control and traction management. So no, it won't hurt anything except maybe you and the paint work if you hit something! lol

Not good for your wallet after getting bail money if driving in track all day on the street.

Take the track mode to the track. Healthy for you and the car.

Too stiff for anything other than a perfectly smooth road.

Track mode is fine. PTM is what determines traction and stability. You can make Z mode mirror Track mode

Chevy recommends against track mode on the street as it is more likely to result in damaged wheels. Smooth roads will prevent that - if you have smooth roads where you live - lucky yoou.

As mentioned above, setting the suspension in track mode increase the risk of wheel damage. I drive in sport and the car handles nicely.

As for the engine, once it is broken-in there is no harm in leaving the shift pattern in track. The negative side effects will be your MPG will go from bad to awful. You'll also change your oil a little more frequently as RPM is a major determinant in the oil life algorithm. Maybe if you put a ton of miles on the car, the engine will need a rebuild sooner. That's not an issue for most corvette owners.

Its a Z06 for crying out loud - Its purpose built for the track - Keep it in track mode if that's what makes you happy - The only you'll hurt is other peoples feelings! Enjoy the car to the fullest - you wont break it! LOL

No issues with using it on the street, other than some speeding tickets, loose fillings from the tight suspension and a **** eating grin as you love it!

There's no advantage on the street. Just a harsh ride and you're endangering your wheels. Just adjust your My and Z Modes for loud exhaust and stiffer steering and leave the suspension on sport or below.
