I’m interested in adding some GM aftermarket CF parts. Unfortunately I couldn’t order my car with them but they are available from the parts department.
for example the door intake trim
Or the front grille inserts
I know the parts should come with instructions but I want to wrap my head around the project before I order.
i do have the part numbers if that helps.
if anyone can help getting these instructions I would really appreciate it.
Here you go. You have to remove the front bumper, I’m actually going to do the install this weekend.
I understand you’re doing your project this weekend, and I would love to hear impressions of how it went.
From the instructions provided it looks like there may be a way to do it without removing the bumper. I’ve removed and reinstalled all the bumpers on my C8 before, so I am comfortable doing that but it’s just more time-consuming if i can get someone (maybe my wife 😁 with small hands to work around the front end maybe the clips can come off from outside.
I also did this project on the C8 but obviously it’s different here because the pieces are bigger and they involve a camera also.
it sounds like you’re familiar with doing the project so I don’t know if this will help but I did post a video on the front bumper removal of my C8.
To install the wishbones you have to remove your door panels. The quarter panel piece pops off but the door piece is bolted on.
that’s what I was afraid of, I removed the door panels on my C6 and it wasn’t something I was looking forward to doing again. I do really want the carbon fiber wishbones though, so I guess that project is ahead of me. Maybe somebody’s put a video online….
I've been thinking about doing the same. I just ordered my car and forgot to add that option, pretty bummed, but too late to make changes. From my light research up to this point, here's a decent video showing how to remove the door panel

That might be a Stingray, but I would imagine it’s the same.
This is the only video I've seen showing some of the install
Starts around 10:10. Sigala's site says they were going to put up an install video, but I haven't seen it yet.
Here's a video of the full install. Would hopefully be able to skip some of these steps with the OEM setup. Still looks like more than I want to take on, kicking myself for not ordering it with this option:
I just ordered a set from GM, I wonder if all the pieces will be direct replacements. Sigala you have to transfer parts. I’ll report back once I receive the parts from GM.

thank you very much. I will appreciate the report back….
i’m hoping the GM parts come as a complete set, more of a direct replacement.

Definitely you need take the bumper off unless you have a tool to press the clips. Some clips pop up and some pop down. I would advise to buy spare clips if you try to do it with the bumper on.

All,
the part's is replacement parts except for the door handle, the door handle is an overlay. I’m very disappointed the door handle with all the electronics was not a replacement due to the cost of these parts.
