I really do not get the point system. I received my car in August 2023 and had an early oil/filter service.
According to an email I received (2/13/24), I now have 30,920 points. I have yet to hear from anyone regarding the 500,000 points.
How does the "system" work?
Update - received e mail saying I have 531,000 points (6 months and a couple of weeks).

I just received a notice from GM that my points system has just increased to 47,000. I've never paid attention to it before so I have a question....What can I get for the points? Please 'splain it to me.

I'm sure you have the myChevrolet app since you see points now this is where GM will download your 500,000 points to. You sure see them between now and a month from now. You won't hear anything just just your app once in awhile.

For just about anything GM related for example towards the purchase of a new car, service done on your car, parts at the dealer or online even pay down a GM loan.

I got my points the week of my 6 months of ownership. Getting very close to having 2Million points.. Will be a nice sized downpayment when I decide to buy another GM vehicle. Maybe an escalade or CT5 V blackwing is in my future.

Thanks everyone - Im curious to know how are the 500,000 points communicated to us? As an example, I just got a notification that I just earned 33k points - How would I have even known that I have another 467k points coming to me without reading this thread?
Do all Z06 purchases earn 500k points or just certain trim levels? How much is 500k points worth?
