Over all your heads. If you know who the OP is you get what he is saying. He’s most likely referring to the date. If I had to take a stab I think we may see either Zr1 vin#1 auctioned here, Or some variation of a Grand Sport.

While I wish for the Grand Sport, I think it is ZR1 Vin #1. I think Grand Sport will bow next year.
GM would benefit more from putting a new 6th gen engine with a power bump in the Stingray than introducing another wide body.
I think they will introduce the new 6th gen at the same time. They could announce the GS with all new LT3 and that the same engine will propagate across the entire range replacing the LT2.
Maybe the ZR1 with the ZORA AWD electric option will be on the auction block in October with similar hp to the Ferrari?
I think the new LT3 will follow after the release of the ZR1 and Zora if they are to be used in those variations. It just sounds better to have the ZR1 engine in the 2026 SR then the other way around from the marketing standpoint?

While we are debating the CPC vs the FPC configurations and the ramifications of both, the real question is will the ZORA be a sub-model or variation of the ZR1? I posted this a few years back on the possibility of a Split Rear Window version that has been exposed in numerous Corvette Design Studio sketches. A split window ZORA with a centerline carbon fiber 45 degree layup would be epic ! Pagani, Bugatti, and others are doing split window configurations with great design success ! Check this out !
The best thing is it chevy wouldn't be copying them.
I guess even in 63 they were copying the Germans........
But chevy did it by necessity because of production issues, making it one piece of glass If I remember the story right.
Would be cool for sure.

The new 6th gen is coming, no doubt.
GM has already announced that there will be a 6th Gen Small Block, but only announced application for the trucks and SUV’s. This announcement being investments into tooling to build them.
It’s just a matter of how the 6th Gen Small block will be and what corvette it debuts in whether C8 or wait until C9.
Every exotic car is doing digital rear view streaming cameras which eliminates the use of the old conventional rear view mirrors. Zora didn't like the split window because there were no solutions for the rear view obstruction at that time 60 some years ago. We are clearly living in a new world of high tech solutions such as GM's latest mirror tech that also has night vision.
