Found a Z06 3lz for sale relatively near me. 1200 miles, so slightly used. MSRP was 178k (over 45k in options on this car). Dealer is offering it to me for $160k, and 70k for my 2023 C8 Z51 in trade.
Kicker - Chevy/GM bought this particiular Z06 back from the original owner due to a transmission problem, which the dealer says has been fixed.
I agree with the comments above. In addition, I don't believe he's doing you any favors on your trade in. Auto Nation just bought my 2020 HTC with 12,000 miles outright last week for $75,000.
Well I just bought a brand new one with transmission issues and check engine lights blazing so as long as the warranty is still good I would tell the dealer to include a top tier GM warranty into the deal.
Do they even have a top-tier GM warranty they can include or do they all try to foist a 3rd-party crap warranty on you, like Ally or something similar?
Interesting. If that was a 2023 with no issues. I think that price would be right on the money and you should hop on it. Since it has had issues, and if its a 2023....it should be lower priced IMO. Aso I would get more for your car and get some CPO extended warranty.

I looked recently when I bought a Bolt EUV, and Ally has a 1.6 out of 5 rating with the BBB for handling claims and customer service. That was the Extended Warranty the dealer was pushing pretty hard for me to purchase. At the time, I assumed it was a GM extended warranty, so I did a little research and found that it's a 3rd party that you deal with, not the dealer performing the service. I'm glad I passed on that deal.
