Default Z06 Ground effects question

Finally, after 2.5 years waiting and wasting my time with a large dealers BS over allocations I have my spec HTC car at 3000 status as of last week from a small local dealer. Question, it's a 3LZ with no optional spoilers or exposed carbon, I been told by others it will still come with side skirts in carbon flash, is this true? I'm buying the front Z07 style splitter soon so it's here when the car comes in but don't want to order side skirts if there coming on the car. Also, when would I expect a build date?

I am announcing publicly here that this will be a touring car, will pile miles on it and promise to myself I will not turn it into a track rat like the others I have... maybe just take a few students for rides and that's all!

Yes, all Z06’s come with carbon flash side skirts if no OEM Carbon fiber aero is ordered.

The normal delivery range is 8-12 weeks, but there is nothing normal with C8 production.
Congratulations!

Correct a stock Z06 comes with painted carbon flash side skirts that look exactly like the optional carbon flash or exposed carbon fiber package ones. The stock ones are some sort of composite material and GM if you get the optional spoiler package just installs carbon fiber ones painted carbon flash. I ordered my car stock and just bought an after market front spoiler painted carbon flash. Saved a lot of money.

Exact build date is hard to say but this is how my build went:Feb 25th 1100 Enter into workbench
April 21st 2000 Order Accepted
April 26th 3000 Order Accepted by Production Control
May 15th 3400 TPW 5/22 VIN

May 25th 3800 Vehicle Produced

May 26th 4000 Available to ship

May 28th 4150 MM Invoiced

June 6th 4200 Vehicle Shipped

June 9th 5000 Delivered to Dealer
Congrats on the Z06!

I’d suggest you purchase your aftermarket front splitter before your car arrives at the dealer. The dealer could then install it for you during PDI. The car will arrive at the dealer with nothing in place where the front splitter goes. The body colored panels that go there will be in the car for the dealer to install. Also the under panel to access splitter installation is shipped inside the car as well thus making this a great time to install your splitter instead of the factory body colored pieces (3).

Thanks for the info. I've owned to many nice carbon splitters only to scrape and crack them at some point. My car is all black like my other Z's so I like to get a Z07 style front splitter in Carbon flash. To me they are almost through away parts do you guys have any idea where i can but the cheapest Z07 splitter?

This is mine when I took delivery. Side skirts included in Carbon Flash. I upgraded and got the front front splitter.
