This is my third C8, My '24 Z06 has a different Info system then the others. Is there a way to "UNLIMIT" the (USB thumb drive) songs browsing while driving? It will only allow you to browse a few songs? This Limit is BS. Also, every time I get in to drive, Reuters News is on the system? Can you lock on FM instead? I know I am old but, Reuters News comes standard? Thank, Jon.
I am very interested in this. while my '24 Z06 won't be built for another 3 weeks, I have a new GMC 1500 Denali pickup and it does this same freaking thing. My brings up artists, and I can't scroll through put maybe 10 of them. No doubt they stuck this in as a nanny so people won't stare at the screen for too long. My '21 HD pickup had the same thing, BUT it also had a 2nd physical **** for tuning. I could turn that to move through artists/songs, etc, where the on-screen controls would not let me.
I Listen to FLAC files on my USB almost exclusively in my truck, and it's really stupid to have to pull off the road and stop in order to move from a Springsteen album over to one from Chris Stapleton. What's really nuts is I can switch over to SiriusXM and tune through channels, on-screen, to my heart's desire......
For 2024 Corvette adopted the same Google-based infotainment system that GM has been using in other vehicles for the last few years. Those of us moving from the IOT/IOS infotainment systems in 2020-2023 to the new IOK infotainment system are running into problems like this. The “how to” documents that GM has online for its other vehicles are somewhat helpful for basic stuff, but the IOK system lacks a comprehensive manual. It seems like they want us to use Android Auto and CarPlay for music rather than USB devices. For instance they want to see “/“ as file delimiters rather than “\” but I don’t see that anywhere in the documentation.

Totally agree! And no hyperlink for switching artist, album, etc from current song! WTF?
