Good morning - I wanted to know if anyone has had any problems with their camera buttons (both the physical button and the one on the screen). If I push either button, nothing happens. The digital button makes the noise that any button makes when it is pressed, but the screen will not change to the camera view. If I go into reverse, the back camera comes on. If I try to press the front view when in reverse, again nothing happens - the camera will not change. My car is a 3LZ. I've checked for a thread on this and the closest thing I can find is an issue where a yellow "!" comes on the screen. This is not what is happening to me.
I've only had the car for 3 weeks and other than this, it is perfect. I appreciate any help / advise. Thanks - Matt
I have a similar issue. The dealership did an update and gave it back to me. Two hours later, I was on the phone to bring it back in.
Now, I'm on 4 weeks of a backorder for a wire harness that goes in behind the back bumper. Don't ask I don't know why. LOL
I had the same problem on a 2022 C8 but with the rear reverse camera (much more important for safety reasons) and I was waiting for that damn wiring harness for over a year. GM didn't even compensate me with $20 for all the inconvenience caused. Anyway, once it was fixed I took the risk and traded it in for a 2023
good luck

Thank you both - looks like I am off to the dealership.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding the chronology here, but IF you are in reverse “R” you can only see reverse camera and can not override it to the front camera (or radio for that matter) for safety reasons. The only time forward facing camera should be able to activate is while in Park or drive, and below a certain speed. Ie: you can’t do it at highway speeds.

Yes, mine happens to be a 22' also.
I've been using my wife as my front and rear back up camera. I have another ticket in with GM customer service. But, even with my other issues (headlight paint blemishes) GM customer service don't care. Sorry, a little rant at GM.

My issues were the reverse. The cameras worked fine, but there was a code that has taken two trips to the dealer to fix. It initially popped a code after changing the battery, so they asked to bring it back to troubleshoot it. Everything worked fine both curb cameras and FCA/following distance camera the entire time. Took it in, they tried the relearn and it failed, so they order some parts. Just got done with the second trip and they say it's fixed now, but again I never noticed anything wrong. The only indicator something was wrong was an intermittent very quick message (would literally disappear in 1 second or less) that for service front camera or service front lift. Not sure why the service front lift error was related (front lift always worked), but the dealer said that was a symptom of the camera error code.
