Default Procharged C8 Z06

How do they already have procharged C8 Erays but no Z06? What's the barrier here? I would supercharge a Z06 LONG before I considered turbos.

The LT2 ECU has mature tuning SW & tuners available, but the LT6 ECU has not been cracked yet. Until that happens the market seems to be reduced to hacking/spoofing the LT6 sensors while avoiding a CEL. The LT2 is also a full point lower in compression at 11.5:1 which doesn't help when you can't alter the tune dramatically.

There are probably other reasons but I can't think of them.

Yep, the locked ECU is the main reason, no control over timing or fuel is hard with a supercharger. I dont see the LT6 taking boost real well with that kind of compression unless they really get the ECU right. I'm sure the harmonics in this thing are pretty well balanced and a belt driven supercharger isn't really going to help that cause. The one thing still holding the stingray/eray guys up still is they havent been able to unlock the TCU on either so... no trans tuning which has truthfully been the biggest road block with these cars making insane power. Give it time though, their for sure working on it.

The engine is better set up physically for TT vs SC, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a proper SC solution come in the same timeline that it took on the SR. A few years after the vehicle came out.

In addition to the software issues, the LT6 has that very complicated multi-path intake manifold that constantly adjusts as you drive. I don't think you would get a good result by ripping that out and bolting on a blower. You can't think of this engine as a 'traditional' American V8. It's a whole different thing.

Yeah I would agree, LT6/LT7 are a rapid departure from traditional LS/LT stuff. These things are way out of GM's typical wheelhouse for better or worse. The aftermarket will figure them out eventually but R&D takes time and the OE's aren't in that game anymore like they were in the past. Once tuning becomes available the hard parts come next and eventually the platform evolves. Its jut taken so much longer with this generation because Global B's framework and encryption was way crazier than anything anyones ever dealt with in the aftermarket tuning realm before.
